Nancy Kay Lutz, 66, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018.
Nancy, the daughter of Roy W. and Ruby M. (McKee) Wise, was born in Springfield, MO, on January 16, 1952. Nancy was married to her first husband Clifford Watson in June of 1967 and to this union was 4 children Tammy, Patricia, Sandra and Christopher. Clifford preceded her in death in 2014. On September 12, 1975, Nancy and Junior Lutz were married and together they shared over 36 years together, before Junior's passing in 2011.
Nancy enjoyed playing bingo, going to yard sales, and watching dirt track racing. She also liked going to Hootentown on Labor Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, and weekends. Nancy loved staying up late to have chats on the phone with her sister and together they were known to go sneak a smoke. Her family brought her great joy and she loved being with them, especially her grandchildren. Nancy will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.
Nancy is survived by children, Tammy Gillmore and husband Gary, Patricia Lutz and husband Eddie all of Springfield, Sandra Trantham and husband Dave of Walnut Grove, Christopher Watson of Springfield; step-daughter, Patricia Williams and husband Kenny of Springfield; grandchildren, Tahra Lock and husband Nathan of Springfield, Britney Eitel and husband Travis of Nixa, Whitney Anderson and husband Randy of Clever, Ryan Gillmore of Springfield, Nicole Stockstill of Springfield, Kristin Watson of Rogersville, Kaitlyn Watson- Craanen of Springfield; 11 great grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 31 step-great grandchildren; sisters, Helen Cron of Ash Grove, Opal Copeland of Mt. Vernon; brother, Roy Lee Wise of Miller; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Elmer Wise, Danny Wise; and step-son, Donald Lutz.
Visitation will be Monday, July 16, 2018, from 9:30AM-10:30AM at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO. Graveside services will be Monday, July 16, 2018, at 11:30AM, at Robberson Prairie Cemetery, Willard, MO.
