Nelson Dupre Jr., 78 of Ash Grove, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023. He was born on December 4, 1944, in Sulphur, Louisiana.

Nelson showed and bred champion dobermans under the kennel name Olympia. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy, LSU Tiger, and St. Louis Cardinal fan. Nelson also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a wood worker and made many beautiful things. Nelson loved to travel and especially loved going on cruises with Jana. Since moving to the area, Nelson enjoyed his cows on the farm.

Nelson is survived by his wife, Jana Dupre; children, Marvin Dupre and wife Lori, Kevin Dupre; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; nephews and nieces, other family and friends.

Nelson was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Visitation will be 5:30PM-7:00PM, Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Lone Star Doberman Rescue and can be left at the funeral home.
