Nita Alice (Johnson) Roe 68, of Everton, passed away Friday, June 6, 2025. She was born February 12, 1957, in Sedalia, MO, to Loyd and Ruby (Shirk) Johnson. On July 22, 1995, Nita and Jim Roe were united in marriage and shared over 29 years together.

Nita enjoyed camping and traveling. She also enjoyed researching her family's genealogy. Above all, Nita loved her family and friends. Her laughter and smile will be greatly missed.

Nita is survived by husband, Jim Roe; children, Troy Lee Chevalier, Ryan James Roe and wife Kaleigh; grandchildren, Gracie, Addison, Sawyer, Ruby, Salem, and one on the way; siblings, Susan Adkins and husband Charles, James Loyd Johnson; sister-in-law, Debbie Stockton; nieces, nephews, cousins, many other family members and friends.

Nita is preceded in death by parents, Loyd Johnson and Ruby Johnson-Beck; son, John Chevalier; and brother, James Loyd O'Hara.

Visitation will be 6:00PM-8:00PM, Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Graveside services will be 10:00AM, Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Antioch Cemetery, Everton.
