Norma J. Cook, 97, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2026.

Norma, the daughter of Ralph and Edith (Boyd) Simmons, was born on November 16, 1928. Norma was born and raised in the Walnut Grove area. She was baptized at Clear Creek and was a member of Concord Baptist and First Baptist Ash Grove. After marrying James in 1950, they moved to Tulsa and built their life there for over 60 years. Norma enjoyed life to the fullest.

Norma is survived by nieces and nephews, Pat Kelley and husband Larry, Ed Simmons and wife Carol, Fred Simmons and wife Becky, Barbara Swadley; great nieces and nephews; good friends, Leta, Donna and Jeri; other family and many friends.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Edith Simmons; husband, James Cook; and brother, Boyd Simmons.

Visitation will be 10:00AM-11:00AM, Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Graveside services will be 11:30AM, Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Ash Grove Cemetery, Ash Grove, MO.
