Patricia "Patty" Ann Ayers 71, of Walnut Grove, passed away August 14, 2025. She was born on March 17, 1954, in Independence, MO to Lawrence and Katherine (Barrett) Lynch. On May 29, 1994, Patty and Stephen Ayers were united in marriage and shared over 31 years together.

Later in life, Patty returned to school and took great pride in her work as a medical coder at Cox. She enjoyed traveling—especially trips to the ocean—along with shopping and treating herself to having her nails done. Her greatest passion was horseback riding, a joy that stayed with her throughout her life, but above all, she loved her family the most.

Patty is survived by her husband, Stephen Ayers; children, Michelle Bay, Christopher Hall and wife Jessica; grandchildren, Cheyenne Applegate and husband Adam, Alex Hall, Mackenzie Hall, Rylie Hall, Gaberiel Hall, Aaliyah Hall; one great grandbaby on the way; siblings, Jackie Schramm and husband Roger, Karen Collins, Sonny Lynch and wife Pam; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Patty is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Katherine Lynch.

Memorial services will be 10:00AM, Friday, August 22, 2025, at Sac River Event Center with a time of visitation to follow.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Patty's name to cancer research.
