Paul L. Latimer, 75, of Walnut Grove, passed away Friday morning June 24, 2015 in Ash Grove Health Care Center. He was born August 20, 1940, in Springfield, Missouri

Paul was a retired Truck Driver. He was a member of the Walnut Grove First Christian Church, O'Sullivan Masonic Lodge A.F. & A. M #7 Walnut Grove, Ash Grove Masonic Lodge A.F. & A. M #100, O.E.S Willard 551, and was on the Board of Sunshine Center in Ash Grove.

Paul enjoyed serving as a deacon in the church, trains, and listening to old western music. However, nothing compared to the time he spent with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

Paul is survived by his wife, Linda of the home; five children, Paul Latimer Jr. of Walnut Grove, Renee Hudson and her husband Charles of Walnut Grove, Randy Latimer and his wife Peggie of Willard, Jay Harrison of Joplin, and Jody Grabber and her husband Jim of Tennessee; a daughter in law, Shawna Latimer of Walnut Grove; two sisters, Velma Gaddis and Edith Marsh both of Colorado; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, James Latimer and Dorothy Barton Latimer; one son, Danny Latimer; three grandchildren; three brothers; and one sister. Those who knew Paul will forever cherish his friendship.
Services will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 10:30 AM in Wilson Brim Daniel Funeral Home Walnut Grove with Pastor Jim Clay officiating, interment following in Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove.
Friends may call after 4:30 PM. Tuesday in the funeral home with Masonic Services at 6:00 PM and visitation to follow from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been suggested to Show-Me Christian Youth Home and donations can be left at or mailed to Wilson Brim Daniel Funeral Home.
