Paule Papez 90, of Walnut Grove, passed away in Alabama, Wednesday, August 4, 2021.

Paule was born on March 30, 1931, to Joseph and Anna Papez in Pueblo, Colorado. On June 14, 1953, Paule and Mary Christine were united in marriage and shared over 55 years together, before Mary's passing in 2008.

Paule faithfully served in the United States Navy as a fireman. He also was a long time member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 178. Paule had a love of farming and enjoyed being out on the land. Paule enjoyed Christmas time and he loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed shooting skeet with his family and friends. Paule will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Paule is survived by his daughter, Peggy Ann Sanford; grandchildren, Alex Paule Sanford, Clancy Jo Wehba and husband Kyle; great grandchildren, James William Sanford, Jesse Joe Sanford; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

Paule was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Christine Papez; 6 brothers, Joseph, James, Albert, John, Anthony, William; and son-in-law, William "Bill" Sanford.

Visitation will be 5:00PM-7:00PM Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove. Funeral services will be 2:00PM, Thursday, August 12, 2021, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, MO.
