Ruby Dorinda Wright, 65, of Springfield passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. She was born on October 14, 1957, in Springfield, Missouri, to Gilbert Leon and Mary (Dill) Bennett. On July 4, 1986, Dorinda and Timothy Wright were united in marriage and shared over 35 years together before Tim's passing in 2021.

Dorinda was an LPN and loved helping people. She enjoyed being outdoors, going for walks and fishing with Tim, planting flowers and vegetables in her garden.  Dorinda will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Dorinda is survived by her son, Paul Pierce and wife Tara; grandchildren, Nick Keeling and wife Amy, Steven Pierce, Brandon Pierce, Matthew Pierce; great grandchildren, Caiden, Isabelle, Carley, Liam; siblings, Rhonda (Bob) Berk, Kay (Mike) Sefton, Glenn (Becky) Bennett, Michael Bennett, Tresa (Jimmy) O'Neal; aunts, Regina (Wayne) Stapp, Lorene (Jack, deceased) Freeze, Lenora Dill; uncle, George (Cindy) Bennett; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and many friends.

Dorinda is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tim; and brother, David Bennett.

Memorial services will be at 2:00PM on Friday, March 17, 2023, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home with inurnment at Corry Cemetery in Dade County, Missouri.
