Raymond R. Calkins, 88 of Ozark, formally of Kansas City, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020. Raymond was born on November 13, 1932 to Raymond and Irene Calkins. On September 7, 1963 Raymond and Mata Riley were united in marriage. They shared 57 years together.

Raymond faithfully served in the United States Army in Korea and then began his career as a banker. He then went to law school and was an attorney in the Kansas City area for many years. Raymond was an animal lover and especially loved his dogs.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Mata Calkins of the home; son, Richard Calkins of TX; grandchildren, Richard Calkins and wife Linsey, Lauren Sanders and husband Stephen, great grandchildren, Colton, Donald, Thomas; nieces Barbara Brooks, Brenda Richardson, cousin, Jerry Reeves; other family and many friends.

Raymond is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Margaret.

Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation under the direction of Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove.
