Renee White, 42, of Bois D'Arc, passed away in the arms of her husband and daughters, on Saturday, January 7, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Springfield, MO on January 11, 1980, to James LeRoy and Linda Kay (Watts) Hammons. On September 27, 2003, Renee and Kurt White were united in marriage and shared over 19 years together.

Renee was a life-long area resident, graduating from Ash Grove High School and then Drury University. While in high school, Renee's competitive nature was able to shine as she was active in volleyball, softball, basketball, and track. She volunteered to coach her nieces and she absolutely loved watching her girls play ball. Renee was a dedicated employee at Sanford and Associates. She loved her community and felt the love that they had given to her and her family over the years. Renee was a selfless, devoted, loving, loyal woman who fiercely loved her friends and family and even the dog that she didn't think that she wanted, Dodger.

Renee is survived by her husband, Kurt White; daughters, Kyndal and Jaycee White; brother, Ronald Hammons and wife Sandi; uncle, Terry Watts and wife Becky; nieces and nephews, Lauren Beasley and husband Chris, Mackenzie Hammons, Riley Hammons, Nolan, Malorie, Keaton White, Jordan Whitley, Tanner Stokes; great niece and nephew, Crew and Layten Beasley; father-in-law, Charlie White and wife Paula; brother-in-law, Eric White and wife Megan, sister-in-law, Shannon Raper and husband Greg; cousins, Chris and Andy Watts; other cousins, family and many friends.

Renee was preceded in death by her parents, James LeRoy "Woody" and Linda Kay Hammons; grandparents, Jeff and Edna Watts, James and Wilma Hammons; sister, Sherry Stokes; and mother-in-law, Patricia White.

Visitation will be 5:00PM-7:00PM, Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Funeral services will be 10:00AM, Friday, January 13, 2023, at North Point Church , with burial to follow at Clear Creek Cemetery, Springfield, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Ash Grove Athletic Program and can be left at the funeral home.
