Robert L. Lake Sr., 81, of Greene County, Mo, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025.

Robert was born in Kermit, Texas on October 29, 1943, to John Franklin and Vera (Hargrave) Lake. On January 28, 1965, Robert and Ella Mosley were united in marriage and shared over 60 years together.

Robert was a man of many passions, including deer hunting, watching golf and football. He also enjoyed spending time with his cherished dog, Penny. His greatest joy came from his family, especially his grandchildren. Above all, Robert loved the Lord and put his faith and trust in Him.

Robert is survived by his wife, Ella Lake; children, Debbie Lake Moreno, Marty Lake Ashcraft, Robert Lake Jr(Monica Lake).; grandchildren, Nathaniel Gonzalez, Brittni Gonzalez, Aaron Ashcraft, Hannah Desotel, Bethany Carlin, Matthew Ashcraft, Rebekah Ashcraft, Holden Lake, Morgan Perrin; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Ann Lake Campbell, Barbara Lake Chester; many  nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, J.F. and Vera Lake; siblings, Joyce Gentry, Ruth Neilsen, Mural Lake, and Jimmy Lake.

A private family service is planned for a later date.
