Stehlik
May 14, 1954 – August 18, 2022
Rocky Stehlik, 68 of Walnut Grove, passed away August 18, 2022. Rocky was born in Springfield, Missouri on May 14, 1954, to Herbert E. and Bettie Lee (Stone) Stehlik. On May 5, 2000, Rocky and Diana Winberry were united in marriage and shared over 22 years together.
Rocky was a life-long Walnut Grove resident. He was active in his community, serving on the school board, a member of First Baptist Church, and a member of the Masonic Lodge. During his time in the lodge, he had been the Worshipful Master and active in the organizing of Pickin' in the Park. Rocky also was a big part of the local food pantry, "Caring Place." He loved cooking, jug fishing, and making sausage. Rocky loved his family, especially all of his grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of those that knew and loved him.
Rocky is preceded in death by his parents and sister Shirley Conrad.
Rocky is survived by his wife, Diana Stehlik; children, Rebecca Medlin and husband Ben, Sean Gatewood and wife Terica, Jessica Jarman and husband Thomas, Casey Garcia and husband Julian, Dustin Stehlik and wife Taylor; grandchildren, Ben Jr., Grayce, Maddalyn, Ean, Emma, Aspyn, Kennedy, Koen, Brianna, Caedence, Millie; sister, Sheila Ivanoff and husband CJ; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and life-long friends.
A public Masonic Service will be held, at 7:00PM, Sunday, August 21, 2022, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove. There will be no formal visitation. Celebration of Life services will be held 2:00PM, Monday, August 22, 2022, at Walnut Grove First Baptist Church. Private burial will be held at Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Caring Place Food Pantry or American Cancer Society and may be left with the funeral home.
