Rollo E. Peltz, 96, of Ash Grove, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022.

Rollo, the son of Onas and Elith (Smith) Peltz, was born in Phenix, MO, on April 30, 1926. Rollo and LaDonna Dunn were united in marriage on September 20, 1946. They shared over 72 years together before LaDonna's passing in 2019.

Rollo was a life-long area resident. He proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. He enjoyed woodworking and repairing lawn mowers. Rollo also enjoyed the old west, traveling and long drives; LaDonna loved when those drives ended up at the casinos. Rollo liked feeding the birds and we all will remember Rollo sitting on the porch waving to everyone going by.

Rollo is survived by his daughter, Shirley Stokes and husband Rick of Ash Grove; grandchildren, Brad Daniel of Ash Grove, Bret Daniel and wife Chawn of Bois D'Arc, LaDawna (Brooke) Stokes of Springfield, Tommy Dunn and family of Springfield, Selena and family, Stephanie and family all of TX; great grandchildren, Kelli Conner and husband Jon, Shay Garoutte and husband Michael, Kenzie Goehring and husband LeVon, Caleb Underwood and family, Emily Underwood, Jacob Underwood; great-great grandchildren, Quintin Conner, Kash Conner, Maxston Conner; sister, Betty Mallory and husband Keith; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Rollo was preceded in death by his parents; wife, LaDonna; and brother, Francis Peltz.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 10:00AM until service time at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00AM, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Ash Grove Cemetery, Ash Grove, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Ash Grove Nursing Home Auxiliary and may be left at the funeral home.
