Roma Louise Johnson, 85 of Bois D' Arc, Missouri passed away in her
home on Friday evening, May 8, 2015 following a short illness.
Roma, the daughter of Frank and Lucretia (Huff) Floyd, was born January 20, 1930, near Republic, Mo. She was a lifelong area resident of the Bois D' Are and Halltown, Mo. areas. She was a homemaker and had been employed with the cafeteria department Lawrence County Manor. She was a member of the Onward Methodist Church.
Roma Floyd and Harold Gene Johnson were united in marriage on August
20, 1955. To this union 3 children were born. Together they were privileged to share over 24 years. He preceded her in death, February 8, 1979. Also, preceding her was her son, Harold Wayne in 1997, her parents and eight siblings, Thurman, Delbert, Cletus, Austin and Ernest Floyd, Letha McGinnis, Nona Wright and Elma Hadlock.
She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Debra Johnson and son, Floyd and wife Charlotte Johnson all of Bois D' Arc, Mo.; 4 grandsons: Laramey and Mandy, Landen and wife Kim, Jeremiah and wife Melyssa and Josh & wife Kami; six great grandsons: Evan, Avery, Levi, Lane, Wyatt and Laik; 2 great granddaughters: Emma and Reignin.
Services will be held Thursday morning May 14, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Wilson Brim Daniel Chapel, Ash Grove with Rev. Keith Gardner officiating with interment following in John's Chapel Cemetery south of Ash Grove
The family will receive friends, Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. -8:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be given, in her memory, to Onward Methodist Church.
