Ronald Dale “Ron” Gray, 48, of Bois D’Arc, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2026, in Springfield, Missouri, surrounded by his family. Ron was born on May 20, 1978, in Springfield, Missouri, to Ronnie Gray and Brenda Johnson.

Ron and Kati were married on October 30, 2004, and built a life together filled with love, laughter, family, and countless memories. His humor brought light to ordinary moments, and his presence made life feel fuller. He was not only Kati’s husband, but best friend too.

Ron was a loving father to Olivia, Kerrigan, and Jaxon. His children meant the world to him, and he took great pride in being their dad. He cherished the time they spent together and the bond they shared. The memories they made, the lessons he taught them, and the pieces of his personality they carry with them will always keep him close. Through them, his love, laughter, and spirit will continue to live on.

Ron was the kind of person who never met a stranger. He was fun-loving, witty, and genuine. He didn’t have to try to make an impression—his personality simply stayed with you. Those who knew him will remember his jokes, his laughter, his way of making a moment more fun, and the feeling of being around someone who brought his own kind of energy wherever he went.

Ron leaves behind his wife, Kati; his children, Olivia, Kerrigan, and Jaxon; his father, Ronnie Gray; his brother, Robert Gray, and Robert’s wife, Kimberly; and his aunt, Rhonda Smith, and her husband, Steve; along with extended family and friends. Each of them carries cherished memories of Ron and the lasting impact of his love, humor, and presence.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Johnson, and his uncles, Ricky Gray and Rodger Gray.

Twenty-six years with Ron was a gift, I will carry our life, our memories, and my love for him with me always. Ron will forever be part of our family and part of who I am. His love will remain in the lives he touched, in the memories we hold close, and in the family he loved so deeply.
