Ronald Lee Barnhart, 71 of Ash Grove passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023. He was born to William F. and Joan Eva (Adams) Barnhart on August 28, 1951. On June 13, 1975, Ronnie and Patty Brown were united in marriage and shared almost 48 years together.
At an early age Ronnie was saved and baptized. He enjoyed camping, history, and reading, especially Lois L'Amour. Ronnie was proud of his time in the Boy Scouts. He had all his memorabilia and loved to tell the story of camping in Marvel Cave before it became part of Silver Dollar City. Ronnie also loved to share the story of how his Great Grandpa Barnes was part of the founding fathers of the john boat and the White River Float Trip from Galena to Branson. He enjoyed raising rabbits and wanted to have a few more. Ronnie and Patty enjoyed traveling and going to Bluegrass Festivals. Above all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Patty Barnhart; daughter, Mikki Gilmore and husband Eric; grandchildren, Kassidi and Kelby; brother, Mike Barnhart; special aunt, Nancy Barnhart; nieces, nephews; other family and many friends.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Bowling; and sister-in-law, Joyce Barnhart.
Visitation will be from 1:00PM until service time, Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Memorial services will begin at 2:00PM, at the funeral home.
