Ross M. Spencer, son of Lovell W. Spencer and Pearl A. Aldrich Spencer, was born January 4, 1927, in Marshfield, Missouri, and departed this life June 30, 2016, in Mt Vernon, Missouri, at the age of eighty-nine years.Ross, graduated from Bois D' Arc High School in 1945 and joined the 13th Division of United States Air Force. He proudly served our country during World War II. Ross was proud of his service time and remained dedicated to the future successes of our country.Ross lived in southwest Missouri most of his life and was a maintenance supervisor at Lily Tulip Corporation and a retired business owner. He was very involved in the United Methodist Church, serving in the following churches: Marshfield, Bois D'Arc, Springfield, and Willard, Missouri.Ross leaves to celebrate his memory, four children; Julie Lindsey and husband Steve, Janine McGuire, Leesa Foster, and Joseph "Ross" Spencer and wife Laura all of Springfield, Missouri; one brother, Artie Spencer and wife Mary Jo of Fair Grove, MO; eight grandchildren, Steven McGuire and wife Julie, Chrystal Williams and husband Doug, Lacey Hammers and husband Ed, Ashley Austin and husband Blake, Holly Porter and husband Ike, Nathan Lindsey and fiancé Maranda, Katie Spencer, and Emma Spencer; eleven great-grandchildren, Samuel McGuire, Tanner Harvill, Laney Hammers, Riley Austin, Noah Williams, Landon Austin, Ryan Williams, Whitney Williams, Lyric Austin, Lily Porter, and Hudson Porter and other relatives and many friends.He was preceded in death by his parents; two spouses, Pansy "Jo" Mabee Spencer and Gerry "Geraldine" Brazeale Spencer; three brothers, Wilbur, Richard, and Noel Spencer; and one sister, Joy Lou Day. Services will be held 10 AM, Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Renew Church, Willard, Missouri with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 6-8PM in the Wilson-Brim-Daniel Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO.Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association and left at the funeral home.
