Rubert S. Coble,90, of Walnut Grove, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018.

Rubert was born on October 12, 1927 to John and Stella (Harp) Coble, in Phenix, MO.  On May 22, 1948, Rubert and Betty Jo Presley were united in marriage; together they shared over 69 years.

Rubert was a life-long area resident.  He loved being outdoors and all that it had to offer.  He especially loved to garden, fish, and hunt.  Nothing beat the time he spent with his grandson.  He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Rubert is survived by his wife, Betty Jo; two sons, Dennis Coble, Joe Coble both of Billings; daughter, Kay Geren and husband Fred of Ash Grove; grandson, Adam Coble and wife Mandy of Clever; great grandchildren; Kayle Coble, McKenna Coble; other family and many friends.

Rubert was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Anna Mae Fortner; three brothers, Hubert, Weldon, Walden; grandson, Jared Coble.

Visitation will be Monday, May 14, 2018 from 9:30AM-service time at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove, MO.  Funeral services will begin at 11:00AM at the funeral home with burial to follow in Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, MO.
