Russell B. Long, 39 of Walnut Grove passed away.  He was born January 17, 1982 in Springfield, MO to Gregory and Rebecca "Reba" (Whitehead) Long.

Russell loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and even his career of being a logger allowed him to spend his time outdoors. Russell loved looking for things in nature that resembled other things. He also loved animals, especially his 17 year old dog, Boots. Russell adored his nieces and nephews and being the "fun uncle." He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Russell is survived by his parents, Gregory and Reba Long; brother David Long and wife Melissa; sister, Kasandra Niemeier and husband Joey; 5 nieces; 3 nephews; cousins, other family, many friends, and coworkers.

Russell is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Roy and Ina Whitehead and paternal grandparents, Harold and Eula Long.

Visitation will be from 5:00PM-7:00PM, Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Graveside services will be 3:00PM, Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Willard, MO.
