Ruth Evelyn Staas Ross, 93, of Aldrich, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022. She was born in Wishart, MO on September 28, 1929, to James G. and Frances (Cunningham) Staas. On May 21, 1948, Ruth and Clyde E. Ross were united in marriage and shared over 52 years together before Clyde's passing in 2000.

Ruth was a lifelong resident of the Morrisville/Aldrich area. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother. Ruth accepted Christ as a young girl and was a member of Eudora Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for several years.

Ruth is survived by her children, Tom Ross and wife Kathy, Phyllis Hall, Cheryl Gomes and husband Louis; grandchildren, Brian Taylor and wife Sonya, Betsy Keilers and husband Lance, Natalie Gilmore and husband Paul, TJ Ross and wife Ashley; great grandchildren, Tiffany and Tanner Corum, Elliott and Hannah Taylor, Micheal and Rachel Taylor, Bryant and Grace Taylor, Lauren Taylor, Shelby Gilmore, Austin Gilmore, Katelyn Gilmore, Solomon Ross, Clayton Leighty; 9 great-great grandchildren and one on the way, that Grandma Ruth is snuggling in heaven, until baby girl arrives on earth; sisters; "Sue" Dorothy Anderson, Deborah Militscher and husband Bob; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Ross; parents, James and Frances Staas; siblings, Mary Fisher, Virginia Patterson, Betty Staas, Linda Smock, Judith Ankrom, "Jean" Annabel Hill, William J. Staas, James Lee Roy Staas.

Visitation will be 1:00PM until service time, Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Eudora Baptist Church, 544 HWY 215, Walnut Grove, MO 65770. Funeral services will begin at 2:00PM, at the church, with burial to follow at Morrisville Cemetery, Morrisville, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be left in Ruth's name to an organization of the donor's choice.
