Sandra "Sandy" K. Evans, 76, of Ash Grove, Missouri passed away July 7, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

Sandy was born June 17, 1946, in New Brighton, Pennsylvania, to Marion "Mike" and Betty (Zettle) Olzak.

Sandy graduated from Rancho High School in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1964. She married Terry "Buck" Evans in 1977 and welcomed their son, Joseph, just a few years later. She spent many years as a paralegal and enjoyed helping others in her work. Sandy had a deep love of her four-legged friends as witnessed by how she opened her home to countless dogs over the years. She had a good sense of humor and would often describe herself as "too sassy."

She is survived by her loving son, Joseph Evans; her best friend and sister, Deborah Allen; her brother and his spouse, Thomas and Karen Olzak; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Betty, and her husband, Buck.

In following Sandy's wishes, there will be no formal services. A celebration of life for family and friends will be held on July 31, 2022 from 2pm-4pm at the King's Way Church, 900 W Sloan St, Mount Vernon, Missouri.
