Shawn K. Potter 52, of Ash Grove, formerly of Lubbock, TX, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021. He was born on June 19, 1969, in Lubbock TX to Darwin and Suzette (Gallimore) Potter. On May 21, 1999, Shawn and Amanda Odom were united in marriage and shared over 22 years together.

Shawn was a retired firefighter from Lubbock, Texas. He enjoyed Dallas Cowboy Football, guns, playing pool, fishing, and listening to music. He had recently moved to Missouri to enjoy retirement. Above all, Shawn loved his family and loved spending quality time with them. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

Shawn is survived by his wife Amanda Potter; daughter, Macie Potter; mother, Suzette Driscoll; sister, Rhonda Norris and husband Kenny; nephews; Matthew Bearden and wife Mandy, David Bearden and wife Sarah; niece, Kayla Bearden; great nieces and nephews, Jaxon, Laci, and Tate Bearden; other family and many friends.

Shawn was preceded in death by his father, Darwin Potter; and grandparents, Cleve and Susie Gallimore.

Memorial services will be 2:00PM, Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove.

Texas Memorial services: Memorial services will be 11:00AM, Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Trinity Church, 7002 Canton Ave., Lubbock, TX 79413

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to National Fallen Firefighters Foundation may be left at the funeral home.
