Sherry Lynn Roberts, 67, of Ash Grove, MO passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016. Sherry was born October 17, 1949 in Springfield, MO, the daughter of Leon and Barbara (Johnson) Small, who preceded her in death.

She was united in marriage to Charles Roberts on December 15, 1972. Together, they were privileged to share 43 years.

Sherry was a retired school teacher. She had taught for 28 years in the Ash Grove District, teaching in both Ash Grove and Bois D'Arc as an elementary teacher. Sherry was a member of Ash Grove First Baptist Church and always enjoyed her time of fellowship. She adored being with family and friends, spending time outdoors, gardening, and just enjoying life on the farm. Sherry was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Charles Roberts, of the home; one son, Jason Roberts of Ash Grove; one brother, Doug Small of Springfield; one sister, Susan Small, of Ash Grove; one grandson, Chandler Roberts of Ash Grove; four nephews, Scott Sayler and wife Hope, Jeff Sayler, Vincent Small, and Alex Small, all of Springfield, and one niece, Kathy Sheperd of Springfield; as well has many former students and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 24, 2016 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home in Ash Grove, MO. Visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 PM, Sunday, October 23, 2016 in the funeral home. Burial will be in Sinking Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Ash Grove Sunshine Center or Ash Grove Care to Learn and may be left at the funeral home.
