Sherry Ann Whittenberg, 84 of Walnut Grove, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024. She was born on November 14, 1939, in Springfield, Missouri, to John Cox and Pauline Miles. She was lovingly raised by her grandparents, Clyde and Myrtle Miles. On October 4, 1974, Sherry and Gary Whittenberg were united in marriage and shared over 49 years together.

Sherry was a lifelong area resident. She enjoyed playing cards, reading, and going for walks in the woods. Sherry loved visiting and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved her.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Gary Whittenberg; daughters, Debbie Whittenberg, Kari Whittenberg and Jeff Unterzuber; grandchildren, Emily Unterzuber, Jennifer Hunt, Miranda and Robert Ross, Jake Burch and Kelsey Sexton; sister, Glenda Ford and husband J.C.; other family and many friends.

Sherry is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde and Myrtle Miles; parents, Pauline and John; daughters, Cyndi Reeves and Tina Burch.

Graveside services will be 1:00PM, Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Rose Hill Cemetery, Willard, MO.
