Shirley L. Nicholson, 78 of Ash Grove passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021.  She was born August 13, 1942, in Mountain Home, AR to Charles and Lois (Plemmons) Manuel. On October 1, 1961, Shirley and Robert Nicholson were united in marriage and shared over 59 years together.

Shirley was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and wife. Everyone brought all of their clothing that needing mending to her, and she was always helping on the farm. Shirley will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Robert Nicholson; son, Robert Nicholson II and wife Terri; grandchildren, Breanna Hughes, Robert Nicholson III, Donovan Nicholson; great grandchildren, Jayden, Garrison; brother, Ted Manuel; nieces, nephews, other family, and many friends.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lois Manuel; siblings, Charles "Butch" Manuel, Benny Joe Manuel, Vernia Dean Burnell, Linda Pendergraph, Julie Manuel, Jackie Manuel, and Tony Manuel.

Graveside services will be 10:00AM, Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Johns Chapel Cemetery, Ash Grove, MO.
