Shirley "Dean" Patton, 80, of Ash Grove, passed away, Saturday, February 22, 2020. He was born January 30, 1940 in Everton, MO to Enoch and Flora (Grover) Patton. On October 11, 1963, Dean and Barbara McKinney were united in marriage and shared over 34 years together before Barbara's passing in 1998.

Dean was a member of Abou Ben Adhem Shrine, Ash Grove Masonic Lodge, and the Scottish Rite. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching westerns. Dean was known for his cowboy hat. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Dean is survived by his daughter, Sheri Bell and husband Greg of Nixa; son, Mark Patton and fiancé Belinda of Walnut Grove; grandchildren, Emily Bell and Landon Bell; sister, Lorene Chappel of Aurora; other family and many friends.

Dean is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; parents, and many brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be 1:00PM, Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Ash Grove Cemetery, Ash Grove, MO.
