Stacy Winters, 51, of Doniphan, MO, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020.

Stacy, the son of George and Lois (Richards) Winters, was born in Wichita, KS, on July 23, 1968. On August 8, 2002, Stacy and Jill Ferguson were united in marriage, they shared over 17 years together.

Stacy had been a firefighter in Nixa, Rogersville, and had been a volunteer firefighter in Willard. He had also been a contractor in Afghanistan, and it gave Stacy and Jill the opportunity to travel to many different places in the world. Stacy was a member of the Willard Masonic Lodge and a member of the Abou Ben Adhem Shrine in Springfield. Stacy had an amazing sense of humor, he was always thinking of others, and a gentle giant, unless he was debating and antagonizing his mother-in-law. He loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He loved going to their activities. Stacy and Jill had moved to Doniphan to start their retirement journey of life on the river. Stacy loved the river. He was at peace sitting on his deck, watching the water flow by. To know Stacy was to love him, he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Stacy is survived by his wife, Jill Winters of the home; children, Dr. William Pearl and wife Sarai, Dr. Nathan Pearl and fiancée Chandler, Alex Winters and wife Rozilin, Shilah Lowrance; grandchildren, Magdalyn Winters, Trey Lowrance; sisters, Debbie Howell, Chris Waitt, Brenda Stohr, Sherri Abasolo; brother-in-law, Bret Stohr; fur baby princess, Bella, the 3lb Chihuahua; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

Stacy was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Ted Howell.

Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
