Obituary

Stephene "Stevie" Ann (Blair) Deckard, 76, of Walnut Grove, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018.

Stevie, the daughter of Stephen "Steve" and Eugenia (Frisbie) Blair, was born in Lynch, KY, on January 9, 1942. Her father passed away 3 months before she was born from a coal mining accident in Portal 31, Lynch Kentucky. On March 25, 1971 Stevie and Billy Deckard were united in marriage. Billy married her even after knowing she had 5 kids, later adding another. They shared over 47 years together.

Stevie was a goer. She didn't like to sit, she was out at garage sales, flea markets, rearranging furniture, only stopping to eat, and she could out eat just about anyone. Stevie and Billy loved to camp and taking their family. She adored taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by those that knew and loved her.

Stevie is survived by husband, Billy Deckard of the home; children, Christina "Tina" Yocom and husband David, James "JJ" Jackson Jr. and wife Kay, Teressa Parnell and husband Denny all of Walnut Grove, Tabitha Johnson and husband Dallas of Sparta, Trebor Deckard and wife Andrea "Oni" of Walnut Grove, William Wells and wife Michele of Fair Grove; grandchildren, Stephen Yocom and wife Tessa, Melissa Nations and husband Shane, Shawnna Mattson and husband Nathan, Billy Parnell, Dakota Johnson, Taylor Mills and husband J.J., Dalton Johnson, Jessie Isenberger, Houston Deckard and wife Bailey, Summer Deckard, Hunter Deckard, Ashley Futter and husband Lee, Jake Wells; great-grandchildren, Gracelynn "Gracie" Yocom, Braylee Yocom, Jayce Baker, Mayce Baker, Bristol Nations, Hailey Mattson, McKayla Mattson, Sienna Deckard, Blair Futter, Liam Futter, Graham Futter, and one on the way; sisters, Vicki Morgan, Loretta Tupin and husband David, Jeanie Webb and husband Mike, Anna Henson; brother-in-law, John "Lightning" Campbell; sister-in-law, Glenna Fleming; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe and Loretta Deckard; aunts and uncles; Delbert "Mickey" and Peggy Frisbie, Doug Frisbie, Sherry Mitchell and George, Durl and Ann Robinson, Neta and J.D. Cauthon; many other family and friends.

Stevie was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Omer (Robbie) Robinson; sons, James "Woody" Woodrow Wilson III (1958), Tony Joe Jackson (2017); grandson, Jason Spell (2017); brother, Ronnie Robinson (1987); and sister, Florence "Flo" Campbell (2016).
Visitation will be Sunday, September 16, 2018, from 1:00PM until service time, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove, MO. Funeral services will begin at 3:00PM, at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Compassus Hospice and may be left at the funeral home.
