Mary Ruth "Sue" Lowery, 80 of Bolivar passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024. Sue was born on June 27, 1943, in Springfield, MO to Elmer and Georgia (Asbell) Hinkle. On September 2, 1962, Sue and Bob Lowery were united in marriage and shared over 61 loving years together.

Sue loved her flowers, cooking, and making crafts. Ms. Sue was a beloved Sunday School teacher at Eudora Baptist Church. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

Sue is survived by her husband, Bob Lowery; children, Jeff Lowery and wife Cindy, Cyndy Spangrud and husband Jonathan; grandchildren, Paige Leatherman and husband Hunter, Chad Lowery and wife Annie; great granddaughter, Palmer; brother, David Hinkle; other family and many friends.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jr. Hinkle.

Visitation will be 10:00AM until service time, Friday, June 7, 2024, at Eudora Baptist Church. Memorial services will begin at 11:00AM, at the church.
