Theresa Margaret (Landwehr) Smith, 87, of Walnut Grove, MO passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022. She was born on April 3, 1935, to Herbert and Monica (Boor) Landwehr. She graduated High School in Sharon, Kansas and graduated from business school in Wichita, Kansas. She worked and lived in Wichita, Kansas where she met Richard Smith. Richard and Theresa were married on January 28, 1956. They enjoyed 66 years of marriage.

Theresa was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be sorely missed. Theresa loved being with her family, painting, sewing, collecting tea pots, going to barbed wire shows, church, and she made the best pies and fried chicken. Theresa attended church at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Springfield, MO.

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents; sisters and brothers-in-law, Monica Marie Hendricks and husband Victor Ricke, Patricia Adelhardt and husband Ron, Agatha Shogrin and husband Robert, Rose Leis, Louise Martin, Eunice Hansard and husband John.

Theresa is survived by her husband, Richard Smith; children, Mary Stillings and husband Robert, Patricia Bowers and husband Tommy, Richard Smith Jr. and wife Anita; grandkids, Kristi Roberts and husband Chris, Michelle Fouche and husband Eric, Robert Stillings Jr. and wife Chrissy, Jessica Engels and husband Brandon, Eric Bowers and wife Christina, Amanda Hambey and husband Eric, Justin Smith and wife Diane, Jeremy Smith and wife Ashley, Heather Mangan and husband Michael; great grandchildren, Cameron and Brendon Roberts, Colby West, McKenzie and Robert Stillings III, Karson, Avery, and Greyson Engels, Levi and Addison Bowers, Alivia and Keaton Hambey, Calvin and Ellie Smith, Shay and Colt Smith, John Mangan; brother, Herbert Landwehr and wife Vonda; brothers-in-law, Lester Leis, Ted Martin, Richard Hendricks; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove. Rosery will be 10:15AM, Thursday, October 6, 2022, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1115 N. Campbell Ave, Springfield, MO 65802. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00AM, at the church. Graveside services will be 2:00PM, Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Ash Grove Cemetery, Ash Grove, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
