Timmy "Tim" Wayne Morris 58, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Mo.

Tim, the son of Bobby and Edith (Hood) Morris, was born August 23, 1957 in Springfield, Mo.
He grew up in the area and graduated from Parkview High School in 1975. He was a computer
programmer with SRC and Ciona Corporation. He was of the Southern Gospel Church.

He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Darlene Gordon.

He is survived by his life partner, Steven Chenault of the home; mother, Edith (Hood) Morris;
Sister, Connie Harre; and brother, Bobby and wife Sandy Morris, all of Springfield, Mo.;
and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Wilson Brim Daniel Chapel,
Ash Grove, Mo., with Rev. Janet Given officiating with interment following in John's Chapel Cemetery, South of Ash Grove, Mo.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday in the funeral home.
