V. Maddie Hughes, 86, of Marshfield, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Thursday, March 24, 2022. She was born on March 3, 1936, in Willow Springs, MO, to Jake and Elsie (Wake) Jones. On April 15, 1954, Maddie and John Hughes were united in marriage. They shared over 65 years together before John's passing in 2019.

Maddie loved to fish and garden.

Maddie is survived by her children, Dennis Hughes, Debbie East and husband Dale, Donna Griffith and husband Mark; 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Christine Clinton; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Friday, April 1, 2022, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO.
