Mr. Vaughn Eugene Campbell, 75, of Walnut Grove, Mo. passed away on Tuesday, November
3, 2015 in his home following an extended illness.
Vaughn, the son of Donald and Margaret (Holloway) Campbell, was born on November 7, 1939 in Ontario, California. He grew up in the area and graduated from Chaffey High School in Ontario, California. He resided in California for many years moving to Missouri in 1976. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Republic, Mo. He was a retired Diesel Mechanic, retiring from Peterbilt Trucking Company.
Vaughn and Ann Lowther were united in marriage on November 1, 1959. Together they were
privileged to share 56 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Marvin Campbell.
He is survived by his wife Ann; son, Paul Campbell, three daughters: Vonda Brann Campbell, Sonya and husband Barry Trantham, Wanda and husband Glenn Sees, all of Walnut Grove; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother David Campbell of Hesperia, California; and sister, Kim Finnan of Las Vegas, Nev.
Services will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Wilson Brim Daniel Chapel, Walnut Grove, MO with interment to follow in Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
