Vaundia Presley entered into the gates of Heaven to meet her Savior, husband and two daughters on May 12, 2017

Vaundia was born on October 31, 1917 in northern Greene County.  She was the fifth of ten children born to Willard and Rhoda Doke.  She was preceded in death by husband Herman in 1986, daughter Lavone in 1940, and daughter Vickie in 1954.  Also preceding her in death were her siblings: Irene Rose, Millard Doke, Velma Smith, Louise Presley, Leone Presley, Lucille Lane, Joanna Jackson, and Galen Doke.

Vaundia was a lady of many hands, church clerk at Nobel Hill for over 50 years, Sunday School teacher, a seamstress, gardener, quilter, bookkeeper and an excellent cook, and even a baby sitter!

Vaundia is survived by her daughter Ila and husband Jim Mullings of Springfield; grandson Dan Mullings and granddaughter Melissa Leigh, both of Springfield; two great-granddaughters, Mackenzie and Olivia; sister Mona Sappington of Walnut Grove.

Visitation will be Sunday May 14, 2017 from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Noble Hill Baptist Church, Willard, MO.  Funeral services will be Monday May 15, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Church.

Arrangements under the direction of Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO.
