Wayne Wesley Norman, 86, of Willard, passed away, on Monday, May 23, 2017.

Wayne, the son of Johnnie Arvil and Mary Jewel (Young) Norman, was born January 8, 1931 in Grassland, TX.  Wayne and Betty (Woods) were united in marriage March 16, 1951. To this union 2 sons were born. Together they were privileged to share over 64 years before Betty's passing in 2015.

Wayne was very active in civic organizations.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, where he was past Master Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite, Shriners, Elks, and American Legion.  Wayne also enjoyed the game of golf, however nothing compared to the time spent with his family especially his grandchildren.  He and Betty formerly resided in California and Arizona before returning to the Willard area in 2005.  Wayne will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, and one sister.

Wayne is survived by his sons, John Norman and wife Marta of Ash Grove, Robert Norman and wife Michelle of Hemet, CA; five grandchildren, John Livingston and wife Danna of San Diego, CA, Dorthy Dahmen and husband Greg of Moscow, ID, Cole Norman and wife Jenn of HI; Jacob Norman of HI, Eliah Norman of Steamboat Springs, CO; six great-grandchildren, Dante and Andre Livingston, Nicholas and Isaac Dahmen, Emma Norman and one great-grandson on the way.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at a later time for family and close friends. Arrangements under the direction of Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO.
