Waynola Bourke, 86 of Walnut Grove, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Waynola was born on October 27, 1937, in Lamar, MO to Rufus and Ida Esther (Sumpter) Carnagie. On March 10, 1957, Waynola and Herman Bourke were united in marriage and shared 33 years together, until Herman's passing in 1991.

Waynola was a long-time area resident. She was a member of Eudora Church of God and taught Sunday school. Waynola enjoyed canning and farming. She worked and retired from Sweetheart, so she could be with her grandchildren. Waynola loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

Waynola is survived by sons, Dwaine Bourke and wife Lori, Michael Bourke and wife Jeannie; grandchildren, Amanda Thompson and husband Drew, Melissa Wickline, Michael Bourke, Caleb Bourke, Anna Bourke; great grandchildren, Lyra, Jude, Wynter, Ellie, Bowie; sister, Ruth Buchanon; beloved dog, Baxter; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

Waynola was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 6 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 half-brothers, and 2 half-sisters.

Visitation will be from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Friday, April 19, 2024, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove. Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Convoy of Hope and left with the funeral home.
