William "Bill" Johnson, 72, of Walnut Grove, passed away, on Friday, April 5, 2019.

Bill the son of Bruce and Anna Jane (McMehen) Johnson, was born in Springfield, MO, on September 9, 1946.
Bill was a life-long area resident, graduating from Walnut Grove High School in 1964. He was a stockman and loved thoroughbred horse racing. Bill was a staunch democrat. He attended the Sac River Cowboy Church and Walnut Grove United Methodist Church when he was able. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jane Bennoch.
Bill is survived by his daughters, Leslie Schuh and husband Mark of Kansas City, Diane Smith and husband Justin of Walnut Grove; grandchildren, Calvin and Ellie Smith, Hannah and Sydney Schuh; sister, Ann Clark; other family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 1:00PM-service time in the Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove, MO. Graveside services will begin at 2:00PM, in Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Sac River Cowboy Church and may be left at the funeral home.
