William Delmar Tummons, 72, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025.  He was born December 25, 1952, in Springfield, MO to Leslie and Joyce (Nett) Tummons.

William faithfully served in the United States Army for over 20 years. He enjoyed Cardinal baseball, Kansas City Chiefs, and Ford Mustangs. Nothing compared to the love he had for his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

William is survived by his children, Nikki Palmer and husband Jason, Ty Tummons and wife Angie; grandchildren, Taylor, Dalton, Aiden, Kaleb, Katelynn; great grandson, Colter; wife, Billie Tummons; sisters, Sharon Hunnicutt, Rhonda Justis; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

William is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Joyce Tummons; wife Debbie Tummons; brother, Leslie Tummons; sisters, Jen Holman and Sue Richardson.

Masonic Services will be 4:00PM, Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove- with visitation to follow until 6:00PM. Funeral services will be 10:00AM, Monday, September 15, 2025, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove, with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
