Wilma Maxine Creed Acuff, 91, of Morrisville, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.

Wilma the daughter of Silas and Mollie (Moore) Creed, was born in Willard, MO, on October 5, 1925.  On November 25, 1942 Wilma and Dixon Acuff were united in marriage and to this union three children were born.  Wilma and Dixon shared 65 wonderful years together.

Wilma was a life-long area resident between Morrisville and Walnut Grove.  She graduated from Marion C. Early in 1943.  Wilma enjoyed cooking wonderful meals for her family and crocheting.  Wilma enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved attending their ballgames. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Wilma is survived by her two sons, Jerry Acuff and wife Kay of Morrisville, Randy Acuff and wife Betty of Walnut Grove; daughter, Judy Cribbs and husband Darrol of Bolivar; 5 grandchildren, Kevin Cribbs and wife Amanda, Kim Cribbs, Jordan Acuff, Bille Jo Evans, Josh Swineberg; great grandchildren, Cooper, Caitlyn, Carly Cribbs, and Jaxx Acuff; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers, Harvey, Burley, Wesley, Glen (Buster), Raven, Francis; and sister, Electa Yocum.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 6:00PM-7:00PM at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove, MO.  Funeral services will be at 10:00AM, Friday, September 29, 2017 in the funeral home with burial to follow in Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, MO.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Hospital and may be left at the funeral home.
