Wilma Mabel Thorn, of Willard, departed this life on Monday, January 8, 2018, at the age of 82.

She was born on September 14, 1935 to Rev. Marvin and Delma (Compton) Pringle, in Ash Grove, MO.  On May 2, 1953, Wilma and Roger Dale Thorn were united in marriage and cherished almost 65 years together.

Wilma loved nature.  One of her favorite places to be was at Table Rock Lake.  She loved fishing, swimming, and slalom skiing.  Wilma also adored her two shelties, Sophie and Princess.  She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Wilma is survived by her loving family: husband, Roger, of the home; sister, Ruth Slatten of Willard; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Eula Cave, Evelyn Lonon; two brothers, Bill Pringle and Infant Raymond Pringle.

Visitation will be Friday, January 12, 2018 from 12:30PM-until service time at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO.  Funeral services will begin at 2:00PM, at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Ash Grove Cemetery, Ash Grove, MO.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Humane Society and/or St. Jude's Hospital and may be left at the funeral home.
