Winnie Irene Winslett, the daughter of Benjamin and Grace (Yates) Adair, was born September 17, 1925 and passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016.

Winnie and Leonard Winslett married on May 25, 1965 and were privileged to share over 49 years of marriage before Leonard's passing in 2013.

Winnie had lived in the Ash Grove area for over 45 years.  She enjoyed traveling, going to Branson shows, and playing the slot machines.  Winnie also enjoyed the unhurried activities of cooking, quilting, and being a part of her church.  Above all else, Winnie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Winnie is survived by one son, Roy Weiser and wife Alisha, of CA; two daughters, Tina Ford, of Clever, MO, Debbie Franzen and husband Bruce, of IA; 7 grandchildren; one sister, Annie McCormick, of AZ; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and many friends.

Winnie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister, and brothers.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 5:00PM-until service time at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO.  Funeral Services will begin at 7:00PM, Tuesday, in the funeral home chapel. Graveside services will be Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 11:00AM in Missouri National Cemetery.
